We can see the blessing, the business the breakthrough, but we can’t quite get there. We need to go around the corner and realize there is a window of opportunity. There’s not a lack of money or a lack of vision in the world. There is a lack of people who are blessable by God because they hoard and steal from God. If you want to be blessed in the area of money, you need to know what the Bible says about it.

God Says, “Test Me”

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the LORD of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. (Malachi 3:10)

An Example Of Dishonor In Joshua Chapters 6 And 7

1. God says the first tenth is mine (the first of ten cities)
2. Don’t touch what I have told you is mine – City #1
3. One of Joshua’s guys stole plunder from city #1
4. They no longer won their battles due to the curse that was on them for dishonoring God

Be Careful What You See

The guy in #3 above stole from God’s tenth. He said he did it, “When he saw…” Be careful what you allow yourself to see or you will see something you don’t need, buy it with money you don’t have to impress people you don’t like. We often bless ourselves instead of blessing God.

The Don’t-Touch-God’s-Stuff Principle Began In The Garden

We also see an example in Genesis, where God gave Adam and Eve an entire garden and said you can have everything EVERYWHERE except for this one tree. It wasn’t that the fruit of the tree was better it was the principle of the thing.

#TheStruggle

Why is it that we struggle to give God a dime out of a dollar when he was willing to give us his first and only son as a sacrifice to pay our way? You’ll hear more about that tomorrow.
