We are surprised when we come under attack. The devil has more faith in us than we do because he can see our potential. He can see our light and he knows what we will accomplish if he doesn’t try to trip us up by placing obstacles in our path.
It’s About Taking Territory
The devil tried to destroy Joyce Meyer’s childhood. He has used people on her staff in an attempt to ruin her reputation. He figures he can jack up India by getting rid of her because it’s all about taking territory, and she makes a difference worldwide.
Are You Walking Side-By-Side With Or Going Head-To-Head With The Devil?
Are you under attack? If not, it might be because you’re not making enough of a difference to be a threat. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers us out of them all. (Psalm 34:19) If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31) The attack is not about you, it’s about who lives in you. When we hide our light, we aren’t a threat.
The Devil Has To Ask Permission, We Do Not
The devil has to get permission to take new territory; we are APPOINTED to take new territory! We are the ones who are called and qualified.
Be Encouraged!
Whatever you’re going through, it’s not about you, it’s about the territory. Don’t take it personally, get in the fight. Don’t be an observer, eating your popcorn, while wondering, “Why me?” Get in the word, speak the word, and use the word to your advantage. Say what God says, accept your appointment and walk it out with Godfidence!
