If we look around us, we see people who idolize famous people. They elevate these people and project the “perfect life” onto them. They then wish for that life. What we forget is that we can’t see behind the scenes into the lives of those people, and when we do, they have messes just like us. Everyone has a self-war.

The Powerful Person And Self-Sabotage

Saul was a man in a position of power, but his self-wars were his downfall. We see this all the time where people rise to a certain height, and then they self-sabotage. How does this person become very famous, very wealthy, and then die in a bathtub? They believe their internal lies when the only thing that can set us free is Jesus, his word, and his church.

The Path To Power And Fame

David was anointed to be the king, right? While David waited, he had Daddy issues because his Dad overlooked him for a king opportunity. He sucked up to Saul to make up for it, but while Saul was nice to his face, Saul was jealous of him and tried to kill him many times. David did not have an easy path to becoming the king.

God Qualifies The Called

You’re qualified, you’re anointed, and you’re appointed for such a time as this! You’re called to be so anointed that you can drive the devil out of Saul even though you’ve got your own devil.

Be Encouraged!

Lord, I decree and declare that those reading this today will stop wishing for a different life and will realize that you can use them as they are and where they are. They understand that everyone has a self-war, so they do not bother to compare. They put your word and promise above everything else. They believe YOU qualify them above and beyond their circumstances. In your name, Amen!
