The God-Designed Life

We live a life by design. If we don’t like our life, then we designed it wrong. I designed my life with what I wanted. I had a wife, kids, house, barn, toys, and land. I even bought land around our house so that our kids could live near us. (Who does that?) When it comes down to it, my life was designed by God; it just took me awhile to obey. Once I become willing and obedient, God told me to sell the majority of what we own, downsize, and move to a subdivision.

I Designed A Life Without God

I wasn’t in the perfect will of God. When I became obedient to God’s every whisper my life blew up with blessing. The more he told me to get rid of the more he blessed me. As he directed me to step out in faith, he faithfully provided. If your life is all about you, consider making it all about God. He won’t let you down.

Live Life On Purpose

In order to live life on purpose, we need to spend time with like-minded God-loving people who will hold us accountable. We should be making networking connections and having breakthroughs in our fellowship at church or in iConnect groups. You see, roots grow the fruits of financial benefits. Roots only anchor themselves when they stay in one place long enough to get plugged in.

Be Encouraged!

We can’t continue in our self-designed life. We need God goals. We need to be God-focused. We need to live out God’s design as he intended it. This is the God who wants to prosper us, not to harm us (Jeremiah 29:11). As we listen to his whispers and obey, we will become like trees planted by rivers of living water (Psalm 1:3; Jeremiah 17:8) and whatever our hands touch shall prosper. (Deuteronomy 30:9) Amen!
