We have a need for healing in the world. There is fear in the world about Ebola right now. If we sneeze on someone and joke about Ebola, it is likely that people in masks will escort us away. They have great faith in Ebola’s ability to kill us.

Have GREAT Faith

We need to have great faith in Psalms 91 and Gods ability to heal us. We have seen anthrax scares, bird flu scares and now Ebola. There will always be something that the world fears. We need to have faith in God’s ability to protect us from the things coming down the road that we haven’t even heard of yet.

Be The 10% That Rises Up And Thanks Jesus For Healing

It feels good to do something for someone or to give them a gift and then have then turn around and be thankful for it. Personally, that makes me want to do MORE for them. But if they just take it for granted, I may not be as eager to do it again. Can you imagine God feeling the same way? Imagine, thanking Jesus for healing and him turning to us saying, “So you like that do you? Well, now I’m REALLY going to bless you!”

Protection From Things We May Never Know About

We may think God isn’t taking care of us at times, but there’s a significant amount that we don’t know about. We don’t know how much the Department of Defense is protecting us from terrorist plots that never make the news. We also have no idea how much God has protected us from things that haven’t happened to us.

God Is Always Working Behind The Scenes On Our Behalf

We may not realize that the small cold we just got COULD have been a major lengthy sickness lasting 6-8 weeks, instead of a short 4-5 days. (Instead of thanking him, we complain about the 4-5 days.) We could have broken a bone instead of just spraining an ankle. We could have had a major injury in a car accident instead of the soreness and bruises we experienced. We need to thank him for the healing because he is working behind the scenes on our behalf at all times in all things. Let’s not underestimate what God is doing on our behalf. Join me in thanking God for our healing today!
