Leaders are meant to be problem solvers. Consider that every successful leadership organization in the world is lucrative BECAUSE they Found A Problem And Solved It. I have watched more than one organization or person allow the problems of their lives to stay hidden. This eventually cracks their foundation and destroys the infrastructure that the future is to be built on.

We’re not doing anyone a favor when there is a crack and we pretend it’s not there. It must be addressed properly or it will be detrimental to the foundation of the whole person and or organization. In my life and organization, I don’t view problems as something that will “to take us out”. I try to identify the problem and choose to see it as an opportunity to thicken the foundation walls that support, stabilize, and strengthen our core.

Remember problem solving doesn’t JUST HAPPEN.

A few biblical guidelines for problem solving:
As a leader, others won’t always agree with you (John 1:11)
Don’t be a know-it-all (Proverbs 3:5)
There’s no room for pride (Proverbs 16:18)
Ask God about it (Philippians 4:6, Matthew 7:7)
Forgive, be professional (Luke 17:3-4)
Don’t get in front of God (Exodus 31:1-35)
Remember God’s patience with you (2 Peter 3:9)

God’s Word is for teaching, reproof, correction and training, follow his example (2 Timothy 3:16)
Your leadership is an example for others to follow (Luke 6:27)
You can do this (Philippians 4:13)

Problem solving shapes you into an outstanding leader, strengthens your organization and hones your team into more effective people.

Continuous improvement through problem-solving is fundamental and will give you greater ability making you successful as you work towards turning your dreams to reality.
