Do you truly realize that God loves you? So often we don’t love ourselves because we know that we’ve been bad. When we were growing up some of us heard that if we didn’t act right that God would “get” us. If that were true, God would have “gotten” ME a LONG time ago. We need to take off our religious glasses regarding what we’ve been taught or what we’ve heard and take a look at our Bible. And a couple of verses to read are God is love and he loved us first (1 John 4:16,19).

We Give In To The Enemy’s Suggestions Because We Don’t Quite Believe Just How Much God Loves Us

In 1 John 4:18, it reads “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

Why do we believe any suggestion from the enemy that God doesn’t love us or that God is mat at us? Because we aren’t reading his word and spending time with him. Christ overcame it all for us so that we could live life more abundantly. He’s already been on the cross; we don’t need to climb up there ourselves. He’s not pointing AT us, he’s drawing us to himself.

God Love Us So Much That:

– Nothing can separate us from his love (Romans 8:37-39)
– He gave his only begotten son (John 3:16
– He forgives us (1 John 1:9, Matthew 6:14-15)
– He wants all of us to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4)
– He wants only good for us (Jeremiah 29:11)
– When things go bad, he works it out for our good (Romans 8:28)
– He cares for us and wants us to lean on him (1 Peter 5:6-7)
– He wants long life for us (Psalm 91:16)
– He wants us to prosper (Jeremiah 29:11, Deuteronomy 8:18)
– He will never forsake us nor leave us (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Be Encouraged!

Dear Lord, thank you for sending Jesus as my substitution, he who did no sin took my sin, and I can now live, move, and be. I’m going to stand firm on God’s love for me and not even consider the doubts planted by the enemy. I’m going to admit it, quit it and forget it. Jesus has forgiven me, so I’M GOING TO FORGIVE ME. Amen!
