We can’t go into a new life with an old mindset. That’s like buying brand new shoes and using socks that we’ve been wearing for over a week. The dirty item messes up the clean, fresh one. We cannot hold onto our old ways and perspectives. When I married my wife, she began to speak into my life and to help me with my programming. Part of the reason God allowed Moses’ life to progress as it did was because He wanted Moses educated in the palace where people had a different viewpoint than him.

Show Me Your Friends, I’ll Show You Your Future

We tend to hang around with and seek out people who are like us. It makes us comfortable in the way we think.

  • Attorneys hang with attorneys.
  • Bankers hang with bankers.
  • Plumbers hang with plumbers.
  • Accountants hang with accountants.
  • Birds of a feather flock together.

God Provides The Background We Need To Fulfill His Will For Our Life

God did not allow Moses to be named by his biological mother because He wanted Moses named under this new system. God had a different mindset for Moses. When he was named Moses and educated in the palace by a different group of people, he gained a different perspective on the world. God elevated Moses so that He could step down to be with his people where God would elevate Him them all together.

God Uses All Of Our Experiences

Know that God is working in your circumstances, and all things have a purpose. God is efficient and will use all of our life experience, all of our work experience, and our abilities. God WILL use it. He wastes nothing. He is creating the big picture that is under construction in each of our lives. Trust it and embrace where you’re at on the way to where you’re going.
