There once was a donkey that fell into a well. The people couldn’t get him out, so they threw dirt on him. He shook the dirt off his back and stepped on it. As the well filled with dirt, the donkey began to rise in spite of his circumstances. When he reached the top, he just stepped out. So whatever is going on in your life, I’d like to encourage you to shake it off, put it under your feet, and watch as you rise above your circumstances.

Your Tough Circumstances Can Lead To Your Dream

Joseph’s circumstances looked like a pit, and he ended up in the palace. Esther was chosen along with hundreds of young women to be considered for the King. There went all hope of finding a husband and having a normal life. Then she became the queen and was positioned to save her people but at the risk of her life. She had favor and succeeded. God is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). If he authors it, he finishes it.

Don’t Let The Enemy Or Inner-Me Talk You Out Of God’s Dream In Your Heart

Lord, I don’t know why you chose me, but I believe that with your word, the right focus will pull me towards my dream. The enemy see’s my dream. He saw Joseph and Esther’s dreams, and he uses circumstances to discourage us. I will not underestimate you. I believe you will begin what you finish. Help me to stay focused, to shake off the tough stuff and to rise to the occasion that you have put into my heart!

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. (Philippians 1:6)
