Have you ever laid in bed and worried all night about important things? It happens to me, and it can steal my peace. It’s funny how when the sun comes up those things don’t seem to be nearly as important. This is a tactic of the enemy (and our inner-me) to fight against us.

Stay On Peace

The framework of our mind determines how well we stay in peace. We have to STAY on something. Our mind has to be trained to stay in peace. If we allow our mind to wander, it will lean towards, turmoil, chaos, and worry, not peace.

You [God] Will Keep Him In Perfect Peace, Whose Mind Is Stayed On You, Because He Trusts In You. (Isaiah 26:3)

Peace is something we have on the inside, in our heart. If we don’t know, we don’t go.

Receive Peace

Lord, help us to realize that we don’t have to strike while the iron is hot. The Holy Spirit can reheat the iron and cause everything to align in your perfect timing. Help us to relax and stop allowing others to rush us while we wait to receive peace from you. Amen!
