All-Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) are used to overcome obstacles between point A and point B. I drove my one-terrain vehicle (a sedan) through a small amount of water. There was a warning of flash floods, but I blew it off not thinking that it applied to me. I suffered the consequences by not only flooding my car, but by having to stand on the hood of my car. If we didn’t have things to overcome we wouldn’t need faith. The keys to the kingdom are in faith and action. Standing next to a vehicle with horsepower will not get us anywhere without the keys.

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. (James 1:22)

We Have Obstacles To Overcome In This Life

God wants us to use our faith to overcome obstacles. Faith hears in the spirit and sees things others cannot see. A young boy was put into a room with a pile of manure. He started digging and when asked why, he said, “With this much manure there has to be a pony in there somewhere!” Do we see our obstacles as problems or opportunities? Do we walk in faith no matter what our situation looks like?

Do You Have The Keys?

Many people receive Jesus and go to church, but do not have the keys. Just because there is power under the hood doesn’t mean we are getting ready to traverse new territory. We have to have the keys, or we aren’t going anywhere.

One Day Of Favor Is Worth 1000 Days Of Labor

With men it is impossible but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26) We have to get out of the I-have-to-figure-it-out mindset. We need to renew our minds and know that if God does it then no one can argue with it. It is impossible for us, but God can turn our reverse around for a promotion. Lord, we believe you to help us overcome our obstacles; we will do our part and have faith for you to put your super on our natural. We thank you for providing the keys. Amen!
