What Does It Take To Be A Pioneer?

Pioneers are those who break new ground. They are available; they get their priorities right; they do the right things; they step out boldly (or do it afraid), and they pave the way. Adam and Eve pioneered sin. Noah pioneered boating. My Dad pioneered a church that was in a building that was a bar at night. Never lose the spirit of a pioneer.

Firsts

Some people are first-generation followers of Jesus Christ. Some people are first-generation tithers who choose to make God a priority in their finances. Be a pioneer. My Dad was a pioneer. Like attracts like, and I believe pioneers attract other pioneers. God has called us to raise this thing up in our spirit. We need to revive the fire of being a pioneer in our daily life.

Don’t Settle

The pioneer stretches boundaries. Pioneers go first. The pioneer doesn’t cave-in when he gets tough. A pioneer doesn’t settle in the low lands of mediocrity.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

Do You Wonder?

Stop wondering, wavering, and waiting. Be the pioneer starting with what is in your heart. With what God shows you in his word and teachings. With what you KNOW to do but aren’t. One decision at a time, one hour at a time and one day at a time, if you are not living out the pioneer within you, I encourage you to begin. Right now!
