There are times that a husband will stay at work late while trying to get ahead all the while justifying it by saying he is doing it for his family. His wife is at home with a cold dinner wondering why he puts work before his family. She feels as if she comes in second place to his job. The man probably doesn’t realize the implications of his actions. Nevertheless, his actions are sending a message. What messages are we sending God this week?

Talents

In the Bible, three servants are given talents while the master is away. The master returns to find that two of them have doubled their talents while the third one hid his talent (Matthew 25:14-30). God is the master, and we are the servants who have been given talent. Our talent is a gift. The gifts God gives us are not intended to be kept to ourselves. Are you giving God your talents?

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:21.

Remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth. Deuteronomy 8:18

Be Encouraged!

Lord, I decree and declare that each person reading this blog is aligning their heart with you. Lord, you have given each of them a gift from your great variety of spiritual gifts, and I declare that they will have a renewed desire to use them to serve one another. (1 Peter 4:10) I believe you will show each person what gift they have to bring to serve your church. As each person cracks the code, I am expectant for them to have abundant blessing. Amen!

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. (Luke 6:38)
