In India, a long time ago, a group of people in a small town knew that an enemy was coming. The town had a huge gold statue of Buddha. They camouflaged the statue by covering it with plaster and paint. When the enemy came through, they took everything but the statue. It wasn’t until 100 years later that some people moved the statue and the plaster began to crack and fall off. They soon realized they were sitting on a billion-dollar gold mine.

Overcome Life’s Invaders

How many times do we have a billion-dollar gold mine inside of us that we plaster over with divorce, hurt, rejection, failure, student loans, or average? These things have invaded our lives, so when the enemy comes in, the Bible reads, when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59:19). It takes Courage to stand up to the enemy but remember you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13).

Be Courageous

I want to help you with a roadmap that will help you deliver a Banner Year. We all have a giant within us, and I want to help awaken the giant within you. That giant is Courage. Say this with me: “I’m going to do some great things this year and I’m going to do it afraid. I’m going to uncover the greatness that is inside of me.” If you have a dream that the enemy knocked out of you, I want to help you revive that dream again. God put that dream in you for a purpose.

Be Determined

Lord, I decree and declare that my friends reading this today believe in themselves as much as you do. They listen to you more than they listen to the world. They believe you more than they believe the enemy. They are going to Google Bible verses about courage and fear so they build a foundation of strength I your word. They. Are. Courageous! Amen.

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)
“The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The Lord is with me; he is my helper.” (Psalm 118:6-7)

In this world, you will have troubles. But be brave! I have defeated the world! (John 16:33)
