Have you ever been so immersed in something that you block out the sounds around you and don’t even hear someone call your name?
Or has someone spoken to you but you only catch half of what they are saying and then they tell you that you have “selective listening”?
These are examples to PROVE to you that you do NOT have to receive or “hear” everything that is said to you.
Examples of what NOT to listen to:
– you won’t get that promotion or job
– you can’t get the girl or he’ll never want you
– you’re too old to do that
– you’ll never get an education or you’re not smart enough to do that
– you’ll never get out of debt
THOSE are the things you should filter into the LIE RECYCLE BIN!
In fact, recycle those lies into God’s Truth as he has said:
– I will finish the work I have begun in you.
– I want you to have a hope and a future.
– I will bless you coming and bless you going.
– Your blessings are pressed down, shaken together and overflowing!
– You will have long life!
– If I am for you, who can be against you?
Maybe YOU shouldn’t worry about what “THEY” think…
You might consider renewing your mind in the word and what God thinks about you.
If we are going to change THE world, we have to change OUR world by the way we think.
REMEMBER: CHOOSE TO USE Selective Listening with any inputs that do NOT agree with God’s word and plan for your life.
