The Confidence Factor
CONFIDENCE IS the key to effective decision-making. There are times that we have convictions and in that moment we need to act on them. If we doubt our decision while making it, we need to go ahead and follow through. We need to trust our gut and our leadership skills.

Overanalyzing can erode the decision we’ve made. This can cause us to do a 180 degree turn, undoing that decision, and causing us to now make the WRONG ONE!

Sure! WE MIGHT MAKE A WRONG DECISION and that’s okay. At the end of the day, if we have done our due diligence, we need to be confident that we made the right decision.

You’ve heard me say, “If it’s God today, it will be God tomorrow.” That advice applies to when you are feeling rushed and are trying to make things happen in your own strength.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6 (New Living Translation)

AND

He who doubts is like a wave…tossed by the wind…a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. James 1:6-8 (New King James Version)

I’d like to encourage you to stay tight with God, LISTEN, and follow your gut instinct. Trust that if it’s the wrong decision, God will show you and help you to make a course correction. Don’t have too much pride to back up, redirect and start again.

The GREAT part about it is that NOTHING TAKE GOD BY SURPRISE and He’s on YOUR SIDE!
