Many of us were raised during a time when parents weren’t concerned with what was politically correct. We know what it was like to get a REAL whoopin’!
Do you ever feel like the enemy is really putting you through the wringer? Does it feel like he’s throwing everything at you and you are feeling all beaten up?
Maybe you feel like you have just had the joy knocked right out of you, but what you NEED TO KNOW is that it’s not the end for you!
“The joy of the Lord is OUR strength..” Nehemiah 8:10
My 10-year-old daughter does not know what her future holds, but she has no doubt that her Mommy and Daddy love her. She will never have to worry about that. It’s the same with God.
God wants us to KNOW that He is CRAZY ABOUT US!
We don’t EVER have to question Christ’s love.
More than that, as the old hymn says, we might not know WHAT our future holds, but we know WHO holds our future.
As the old saying goes, “What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger.”
“So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.” James 1:4 (NLT)
God pours His strength through you and into your life so that you can KNOW the FULLNESS of His joy and rest SECURE in His love. Will you allow Him to do that for you today?
