What are You Listening To?
If anyone understands what it means to be busy, I do. Many of us seem to be too busy to find time for God. When it comes down to it, we make time for what is important to us. Where there is a will, there is a way and technology is bridging the gap and taking away our excuses. Yesterday, I mentioned our livestream online ability that helps us to connect DURING a service; but maybe some of us aren’t even able to do that. Are you aware of the other ways to connect online at YOUR convenience?

No time to watch? Then listen while you drive, walk or exercise!

Faith comes by hearing. (Romans 10:17)

We offer podcasts available online for download. We have sermon CD’s and DVD’s available at a low cost after every service. This form of media allows us to put it on our MP3 player in order to listen while we exercise or walk. We can also listen to the CD in the car during our commute to work. I’m telling you, we truly have no excuse not to get God’s Word poured into us on a regular basis! Some people listen to podcasts while getting ready for work in the morning instead of watching the news. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

Social Media: A ministry? A way to connect? Yes!

We offer blogs, and have Facebook pages, Twitter and Instagram. We love hearing from you, but we also want you to engage with one another. Hebrews 10:25 says that we are to encourage one another.

For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. (Matthew 18:20)

We get out of the online experience what we put into it. How often do we comment on a blog or actually tweet quotes that we heard in a sermon? Do we ever reply to other people’s tweets, or talk about God with our friends on Facebook, or with other church members online?

God loves it when we talk about Him!

God’s family knows no boundaries.

Technology is doing phenomenal things to break down the physical boundaries that could cause our church to feel separated due to the miles in between campuses. The enemy wants us to think that way, but WE ARE ONE CHURCH! The online campus is the bridge that pulls our ENTIRE family together from St Louis, to West Palm Beach, across the United States and across the world.

We’d love to hear from you. Let’s show how far and wide our family extends! Let us know what city you’re writing from!
