We are bad news for the devil BECAUSE we have bad breath. By bad, I mean GOOD, POWERFUL, STRONG, with AUTHORITY! When we speak, things happen because God speaks through us.
Repeat After Me
They key is that we have to say what God tells us to say in His Word and not just whatever we feel like saying. Airline pilots are given instructions for how high and what direction to fly their plane. The instructions are spoken to them in a very specific way. The pilot then has to repeat those words back to the control tower EXACTLY as they were initially stated in order to make sure they heard the instructions correctly. The control tower doesn’t just assume the pilot received his or her instructions, they require that the pilot repeat the instructions back to them.
Accidents Happen When We Don’t Follow Instructions
Accidents happen when pilots don’t follow the instructions given by the ones who are directing traffic (the air traffic control tower). Accidents happen when we don’t speak as God has commanded. Are we going to say the things God wants us to say? Or are we going to let the world economy and man dictate what we say?
A Few Things We Should Say:
My needs are met. (Philippians 4:19)
“I have plenty put up in store.” (Luke 12:19)
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)
“He satisfies my mouth with good things.” (Psalm 103:5)
“I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath.” (Deuteronomy 28:13)
“I am blessed coming in and blessed going out.” (Deuteronomy 28:6)
Condemnation will say, “What you talkin’ bout?”
Are You Bad? I am. I’m Bad News For The Devil!
Say it with me now, “I’m BAD! I’ve read the scripture. I’m BAD! Bad news for the devil! My breath towards the devil is just as powerful as God’s.”
Don’t say how you feel, start prophesying and hear your bones RATTLE!!!
To Be Bad, We Have To Say The Right Things
We often don’t receive what we need to receive because we aren’t saying what we need to be saying. The rattling might be good news so the flesh begins to cover the bones. But there’s still no money and we still have pain. Don’t prophesy that!
Say It And Celebrate It!
Don’t ask yourself how you feel. Say, “I am blessed and highly favored!” (Luke 1:28) Your victory is close, it’s coming, and then the devil attacks. Your husband is coming around, but he’s as ornery as ever, get him in church! Celebrate anything and everything! Celebrate the little bit that God is doing right now in your life! You may not see any breath in the situation right now, but keep speaking to it and it will come back to life!
