The Diligent Shall Be Made Phat

“…The soul of the diligent shall be made fat.” (Proverbs 13:4) We can also read that as PHAT, as in cool, awesome, dope, amazing or hip. Diligence equates to someone who is hard-working. The world we live in today has so many possibilities from manual labor to digital labor; we have endless opportunity. God wants to give us creative ideas to be prosperous. He will whisper suggestions to keep us spiritually prosperous and strengthened as well as ideas to make currency flow.

God Blesses Us Because HE Is Good, Not Because We Are Good

“God will bless everything we put our hand to…” (Deuteronomy 28:8). We don’t bless others because we are blessed. We bless others in order to bless them and by default it blesses us in the process. Likewise, just as parents want good things for their kids, God doesn’t bless us because we’re good, He blesses us because He is good.

God Brings Provision To Our Vision

“He will give us wisdom to make financial decisions.” (James 1:5) “God teaches us to profit and leads us in the way we should go.” (Isaiah 48:17) Are we listening? The Spirit will whisper, take a few minutes to read your Bible, don’t watch that movie, go sell that on Craigslist or eBay, or here’s an idea for a way to make some extra money or to start a new business. Do we have the courage to obey that whisper? How many years has God been telling us the same thing and we keep putting it off?

Our Disobedience Causes A Blessing To Be Delayed For Others

“The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.” (Deuteronomy 28:8) With a full storehouse, we are positioned to start that business, to hire people and to create jobs. There is so much need. It’s not just about giving away money to help others, but being bold enough to start a business and hire them.

Kingdom Business Is God’s Business And That’s Business Period

You don’t have to be a preacher for God to reach others through you. You don’t have to be rich. You don’t have to be educated. You do have to be willing. God’s people are hurting, all over the world, in every industry. The more you bless God with your business – whatever your business may be – the more He will bless you. God wants to prosper you.

“….God is the one who gives us the power to get wealth…” (Deuteronomy 8:18)

Are we keeping our ear tuned to God’s whispered guidance or are we Doing Everything But Thinking (D-E-B-T)?
