Our faith makes or breaks our miracle. Think about it, we all know that exercise programs and eating plans only work as well as our commitment to them. Our discipline only works as well as we apply it consistently. If we are looking for a breakthrough, we need to examine our faith. It is OURS to use, what are we doing with it? Do we have faith or not, that what we need to examine.
Do You Believe?
They went right into the house where he was staying, and Jesus asked them, “Do you believe I can make you see?”
“Yes, Lord,” they told him, “we do.”
Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” Then their eyes were opened, and they could see!
(Mark 9:28-30)
We Need To Get The Recipe So That We Can Bake Our Own Cake
God can give us our miracle but if we get our healing or breakthrough with our faith then, we know how to do it. When someone gets a miracle, and they think they got it because of a church service or pastor, when the next thing goes wrong they don’t know what to do. In other words, somebody else made the cake, they thought it tasted good but because they didn’t get the recipe they couldn’t bake the cake. When we have the recipe, and we know how it’s done we can do it on our own instead of leaning on others.
Jesus Said, “Because Of Your Faith, It Will Happen.”
Jesus likely wanted the Disciples to know that it’s our faith in Him that paves the way for our breakthrough; it’s not just Him doing a random miracle for us. The woman with the issue of blood, she walked up to Jesus and she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” Jesus saw her and said, “YOUR faith has made you well.” (Matthew 9:21-22)
