The computer is designed to do a job. There are programs and mechanisms in place to filter out the bad files. There are viruses that can destroy everything with just one click. Sometimes we shouldn’t click on something (or talk to someone or participate in an activity or make a certain choice) because it will contaminate our future. Sometimes we need just to hit delete.
Overwrite Contaminated Programming With A Renewed Mind
We allow viruses into our lives that rob us of our peace. We open the door, and the virus enters and destroys. What we need is to renew our mind. Renewal is new programming. Computers become contaminated with spyware and viruses so that affect computer performance. Likewise, we slow down from the weight of our circumstances. We need to get into church and overwrite our mindset with new programming. A computer is returned to “like new” state by overwriting the software with new programming. Our renewal comes from the Word of God. It gives us new programming so that we can view our circumstances through the eyes of God instead of the contaminated eyes of the world around us.
Know Joy, Know Peace. No Joy, No Peace.
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)
Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Who better to give us peace?
You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. (Isaiah 26:3)
We lose our peace when we think more about our problems and less about Jesus. I encourage you to spend some time with God and in the Word today to overwrite your programming. Peace is just a few words lines of programming away!
