Exhaustion 101:  Five Ways to Victory

1. Beware of the state of mind that accompanies the physical state of exhaustion. Know your weaknesses. Be fair to others and try not to take it out on them.

2. Get physically rested.

3. Renew your mind by spending time with God and in his word.

4. Sit down and watch a funny movie and give yourself permission to let go of life’s burdens and laugh.

5. Exchange your burdens for praise. If you can laugh at your bosses’ jokes, then you can do this!

Throw Off The Heaviness And Run With Joy!

In Isaiah 61:3 it reads, [take on] the garment of praise instead of a heavy, burdened spirit… As you go about your day, choose joy no matter what the circumstance. Because it is …Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit… Zechariah 4:6

Fake It Until You Make It

We don’t have to FEEL joy or be in the mood to be joyful. We just need to choose it. Be grateful, be thankful, focus on what you do have instead of what you do not. Test this out sometime. Your day can change in a moment if you will just choose joy.
