In our society, when we get sick or have a problem, we tend to talk about it. We ask for advice, we google for solutions, and direct all of our energy on what is wrong with us. We need to focus that google search on positive things instead of trying to find someone that will agree with our self-diagnosis. Our discussions should be about each victory no matter how small. We need to be focused on our healing and direct our concerns to the healer and THAT should be the first thing we do.
Is Our Problem Too Big To Hit Or Too Big To Miss?
A gentleman once had tumors on his neck. We prayed the prayer of faith over him, but he kept focusing on the problem and glorifying the tumors. When David had to face Goliath, he could have focused on Goliath’s size and that he was too big to hit. Instead, David decided Goliath was too big to MISS!!!! This gentleman’s tumors shrunk over the months and were gone for two years. Then he stopped going to church.
Faith Comes By Hearing
Faith comes by hearing… (Romans 10:17) Faith begins where the will of God is known. We need to hear it. It’s not that we are being punished for not going to church; it’s that when we are filling up our spiritual fuel tank regularly, it renews and strengthens us. Just as our immune system grows weak when we don’t feed it nutritional foods, our mindset can grow toxic when we don’t wash it with the word of God on a regular basis. And our body follows our mind.
The Only Thing Worse Than Cancer On The Mind Is Cancer Of The Mind
I’d like to encourage you today to get into the church, listen to the word, and BELIEVE for your healing. BELIEVE for solutions. Keep your mind washed in the word so that cancer of the mind doesn’t become the chink in your armor. For God says, with LONG LIFE I will satisfy you! (Psalm 91:16)
