When someone comes against us, and we worry that they might shut us down, cause us to be denied a loan or cause us to lose the promotion. When this threat is around, we waste mental energy on this person or organization. They can be three states away, but because we think about them all the time, they might as well be walking through the day right next to us.
Choose Differently
Choose not to talk or think about that person. We need to refocus that mental energy to say, “Hey if they are going to shut us down, let them! At least then we’ll have a , and we’ll know that we need to try a different way.” When we have fear, we give the enemy fuel. He has something to hold over us. If we let it go and leave it up to God, then we can move on and use our time more effectively.
The Mr. Tree. Milestone
Let’s just say the person who is trying to shut us down is Mr. Tree. After we come through that situation, and it’s done and over with, it sets a milestone. When we face three trees, we can look back and say, “I remember when one tree jacked with me for one year. I can handle three trees for three years.”
My God Is Bigger Than That!
The purpose is to grow and to increase our tolerance for pain. I have gotten to the point where you can bring all the trees in California against me; my God is bigger than that! The devil can’t jack with me!
Be Encouraged!
Lord, we are in agreement with you that we live in a land of abundance. We decree and declare that the favor, the money, the promotion, the opportunity, and the business is breaking through and is on its way. We do not live with scarcity; we live without it! (Romans 8:28) Amen!
