God told Abraham that he would bless Abraham’s first born, but since he was the FIRST, Abraham would have to put him on the altar. Abraham didn’t HAVE to do it. But God showed him, “If you make this sacrifice, you will have SONS (plural). If you don’t, you will only have THIS son.” God gave the first tithe, his firstborn son, Jesus. He did that so that sin wouldn’t have dominion. Jesus IS the difference.

Are We Going To Be Tempted To Take What Is God’s?
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. (Malachi 3:10)
