The fact of gravity keeps an airplane on the ground. The truth of the Bernoulli principle allows an airplane to lift when the wind flows across the wings. My wife had stage 4 cancer and was told she would never have kids. She is still alive and has a child. There’s fact, and there’s truth. The truth of Isaiah 53:5 is that by his stripes we are healed.
The Difference Between Fact And Truth – PERIOD.
With fact, we tend to state what we see, and our society tends be heavily persuaded to believe it. What they see on the news, what they hear from friends or family, or even the nagging inner-me voice. Don’t tell ME what the doctor OR the devil said. Truth supersedes fact in the name of Jesus.
Truth = Victory
The fact is you’re broke, divorced, or have cancer. The truth is that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ went to hell and back to save us. He didn’t do that so that we would live in fear of these facts. He wants us to live in the victory of what he overcame FOR us.
Victory Is Knowing That:
– Our financial breakthrough is coming. (Deuteronomy 8:18)
– God works all things out for our good (Romans 8:28).
– We are already healed, and our body just needs to catch up to our healed state. (Isaiah 53:5)
Be Encouraged!
We can see our circumstances and we can see an airplane tied to the ground by gravity. We cannot see the wind across an airplane’s wings. This invisible thing that is present yet unseen. The wing only has to move an inch and because of the wind, it can rise to a higher altitude. Likewise, God’s truth can change our situation in a split second. Will you stand with me to take the step toward leaning more on God’s truth and less on fact today?
