Paul said, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live.” Galatians 2:20 God brings people into our life to crucify our flesh. You might be married to someone who God is using to teach you patience. You might have given birth to or be the Father of a kid who was put there to crucify your flesh. They are there to reveal who YOU are because they are JUST like you and that’s part of the reason why you have a problem with them.

We Don’t Deserve For People To Love Us

If we want people to love us and to forgive us then we need to be QUICK to be humble and quick to forgive. Love is kind, love is tenderhearted, love is not puffed up. (1 Corinthians 13)

God Forgives Us The Big Debt

God loved us so much that he gave his only son. He forgave us. And he’s telling us now, “I forgave you this big debt. How quick are you to get sanctimonious over whether or not someone else deserves forgiveness?”

God’s Love Is In You

The love of God is in us. Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. If God is in you and God is love then you have love in you. God’s love says, “Calm down, don’t take that out on them.”

Be Encouraged

The next opportunity you get to get rubbed wrong by that sandpaper person in your life before you respond consider the following:

In light of my past experience, hopes, and dreams, what is the wisest thing to do?

This statement has kept me from making some pretty impulsive and dumb decisions. I’d like to encourage you to use it in all situations with all people. I declare wisdom and obedience to God each of your sandpaper issues. I call you blessed! Amen!
