SHARE THIS POSTFaith comes by hearing. We need to listen to God’s word until we are overflowing. When stuff happens around us, we should be so full of God’s word that his word is the first thing on our lips. Not fear or worry but calling out God’s word over the situation and taking it to the spiritual realm where the REAL fight is going on.
How Do We Make That Happen?
You get plugged in. Christians need other Christians. We are to lock arms and wield our shields to block the enemy. When one of us is not strong or is struggling, someone else will stand firm for us and help us to regroup. But we must get together in groups.
Get With A Group
You hear, but you don’t understand. Understanding is the ability to apply what you’ve learned. iConnect is a great way for believers to get together and talk about God’s word. Your life will never be what it’s supposed to be if you’re not in a small group that helps you sort out what’s going on in the world and your life. The enemy is LOOKING for those who are alone. He wants to separate us to divide and conquer.
Be Encouraged
Lord, we are reading your word, hearing your word in church, listening to podcasts about your word and gathering in iConnect groups to talk about your word. We are saturating our lives with you so that when the world is in chaos around us we stand firm in what YOU say about it. We speak your word before our own. We do not participate in terrorism, racism or any other ism. Amen!
