You’re stronger than you think you are. You’re smarter than you think you are. You’re better looking than you think you are. Do you realize how much authority you have? There is a reason the devil is afraid of you.

Jesus Sends The Devil Running. So Can You

In the Bible, Jesus came upon some demon possessed people. The demons in them screamed for Jesus not to terrorize them but to cast them into some pigs nearby (Mark 5:12). So He did, and the pigs jumped off a cliff and died. Mind you, as a Christian, we can’t be demon possessed, but we can be demon oppressed. The Jesus in US causes the devil in OTHERS to cry out against US.

Not Of This World

We need to remember we are not of this world. We are kingdom minded. We can’t bind Joe or Suzy, but we can bind the devil in them. We need to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). We need to acknowledge God in all his ways and he will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:6). In bullfighting, the bull is not going for the red flag but the man behind it! Don’t be deceived by the red flag, or the behaviors, those are symptoms. The problem is not the problem. The devil is the problem.

You Make A Difference

Devils tremble when we walk into the room. He’s afraid the world is getting stronger. As Christians, we are the ones who ensure everyone stays calm, cool and collected when chaos erupts around us. God is coming back for a glorious church (Ephesians 5:27), not a wimpy one.

Be Encouraged

Lord, we walk in authority knowing that when we speak using Jesus name, it is just as powerful as if Jesus himself said it. We have confidence in this, and we use YOUR word to speak into the situations around us daily. We walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). In your mighty and matchless name, Amen!
