There are times we don’t realize our faith has dimmed. We don’t realize that our Faith Switch is turned to the low setting. God spoke to me one time when I was walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night, “Don’t live your life this way! Walking around and bumping into things due to the low light is the same as living in the dark.”

Do We Need To Turn Up The Power?

When we keep the switch of faith turned on something supernatural happens. In our kitchen in our home in Florida when my wife, Nicole, said, “I think something is wrong with the lights.” I said, “No, they’re on a dimmer switch, and the dimmer is turned down to the low setting.” When I turned the dimmer on high, the blinking and inconsistency stopped.

Fuel Your Faith

Our dream needs oxygen to live. A dream needs life breathed into it by us; much like an umbilical cord passes life from a mother to a baby. If we want our life to grow into our dream, we need to perform a stretching exercise. We need to stretch our mind, will, and emotions. We must exhibit the necessary discipline to make real change. There is no substitute. Consistency is the key to the breakthrough. What we do every day makes the difference. There are no shortcuts.

Be Encouraged

We need to be passionately consumed to master the call God gave us.
It’s very unlikely we’re going to be successful if we have a divided interest. You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you (Job 22:28), however, a person who doubts… is double-minded and unstable in all they do. (James 1:6-8) Doubt is inconsistent. Lord, we have our Faith Switch turned to high, we’re walking in the light, and we’re consistently breathing life into our dream. Amen!
