Have you ever been betrayed? Judas betrayed Jesus. Absalom betrayed his Dad, King David. If they were betrayed why couldn’t it happen to us? We don’t realize a person is a Judas while they are working their magic. Then when the rubber hits the road, we don’t have the elasticity to bounce back. We allow the betrayal to hold us back. We start saying all men or all women are bad and that’s just not true.

Is There A Wall Between You And Your Greatness?

The one wall the enemy favors is the one that comes between you and your greatness. This wall is created after a betrayal. It walls you off from future love; it causes you to keep spouting haterade so that no one is attracted to you; it is a wall that you teach your kids to build. The enemy can influence and stop generations of greatness by one betrayal in one generation. Your generation. (By chance, are you carrying negativity from a betrayal that occurred in a generation before you?)

The Person Who Hurt You Is Not The Real Enemy

One person hurts you. You deal with it and move on and then it happens again. It’s not the people; it’s the evil spirit that jumps from person to person, using them to come against you and to hold you back. The devil knows you’re called to change a lot of lives. Demonic activity is trying to penetrate your life, to cause you pain, and to hold you back from the big plan for your life.

You Are Chosen

Understand the battle at hand. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against…the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) Do you feel like you’ve had more betrayal than others? That’s because you have the ingredients to be great. I call you blessed! Amen!
