Don’t get so caught up in your responsibilities today that you lose sight of the vision that is driving you to the top of YOUR mountain.

In Genesis Chapters 6-8, Noah spent years building the Ark. He probably had opportunities to get sidetracked. Once God fulfilled his promise, Noah was “delivered”, and got to sit on a boat with his ENTIRE family and a LOT of animals for 12 ½ months. He had likely many more opportunities to get side-tracked, to lose sight of the big picture, to complain and to NOT be thankful.

Noah:
– Built a boat that wasn’t near a lake or ocean
– Spent years at it
– That task alone took tremendous commitment, focus and discipline and ALL without a “tangible” evidence that he would get to use it
– God only told him it would rain 40 days and 40 nights
– He may have questioned how long it would be until life is normal again and he could get out of that boat
– He stayed focused
– After a year of that, once back on dry land, he still thanked and praised God

Use every opportunity today, every meeting, every phone call, every task, to refocus on the desire and vision YOU have for your life.

Try to redirect every priority today to drive you towards the end result that is in your heart.

Even if it takes years to get to where you would like to be.

It will only happen when you focus your attention and desire on your final destination. Don’t allow the short term, temporary small things to sidetrack you.

Remember, Noah, and stay FOCUSED on the BIG PICTURE.
