Fear tolerated is faith contaminated. In your opinion, what does it take for something to be contaminated? If I have a bottle of water and put in a few drops of anti-freeze, does that make it contaminated? I hope you think it is! The enemy comes in and tries to contaminate our faith by saying, “You never know what God is going to do!” That type of thinking causes us to keep our eyes on the problem instead of the promise. Our faith becomes contaminated and ineffective.

Our Life Heads In The Direction That We Focus

In the natural, our problem might look insurmountable, but that is in the natural mind. When Peter looked at Jesus, He walked on water, when he looked at the problem, he sank. However, Jesus promptly pulled Peter up out of the problem so that he could rise above his circumstances. If we focus on Jesus we can live above our circumstances. If we focus on our problem it only seems to get bigger, if we focus on Jesus, we can trust He has a plan work it out. It doesn’t just “happen” for us, we have to be vigilant about our focus.

God Can Handle Our Problem

And our neighbor’s problem.
And our Mama’s problem.
And our children’s problem.
And our coworker’s problem.
And all the problems in China.
He can do that TODAY!

Do You Think You Can Even Dim The Lights In Heaven With Your Problems? Just Try It!

If all the Christians in the world, at one time, said, “Jesus, help me!” It would not even dim the lights in heaven. God is looking for some people to pray some big, bold prayers.

He is looking for somebody to come into Faith Church on a Sunday morning and say, “I barely got here, but I am not moved by what I see. I am moved by God. I am not moved by what my checkbook says. I am moved by God. I am here to worship and praise God!”

Are You That Person? Do You Think You’re The Only One Going Through “Your” Personal Challenge?

Are you that person today? Walking in the front door? Joining us online? Reading our Facebook posts? Getting involved with iConnect groups? We want you. God wants you. And there is nothing going on in your life that is taking God by surprise. There is nothing that you are going through that someone in our congregation hasn’t also struggled with. In fact, there is nothing that you are going through that someone somewhere hasn’t also gone through. Don’t believe the enemy. You are not alone.

God Has A Tailored Plan Just For YOU!

Today I’d like to encourage you to have faith that God has a plan for you. YOU! A plan that is unique to your gifts, skills, talents and personality. He has tailored it for your life. Will you stand with me today and have faith in God’s plan to work things out for your good? (Romans 8:28)
