My family and I enjoy going to the movies and I will get my family up and take them out of a movie theatre. Why? I don’t believe in watching a movie where two people go through a traumatic experience, and one dies of cancer. Statistics show that 1 out of 4 people has cancer, and some of them are probably in the front row of any movie theatre. Statistics are a version of the facts. I prefer to deal in truth over facts.
Fact Or Truth? I Want To Hear Some Truth!
The only truth I want to hear is from the Bible. With long life he satisfies me and shows me his salvation (Psalm 91:16). My health will spring forth speedily (Isaiah 58:8). Those are the things I want to focus on. Sure, I believe in chemotherapy AND word therapy. I’m for both. Pray for those cancer cells to submit and bow down to your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Then go get your chemotherapy treatment. You may have cancer, but cancer doesn’t have YOU.
Take Heed What You Hear. (Mark 4:24)
The more we hear, the more it gets in our heart. The more it gets into our heart, the more it comes out of our mouth (Luke 6:45). We tend to believe what we hear and what we hear builds up or chips away at our faith. Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17). It’s not that we are to say that we don’t have cancer it’s just that we are not going to keep it. Say, “I’m DONE with that!” And take heed what you hear.
The Media Has Been Scooped By God
Lord, you know how it ends. YOU know about resources and outcomes that we do not. We will listen LESS to the news and MORE to your truth. We will listen LESS to our pessimistic friends and family, the facts of the economy, and the politics surrounding us. We are digging into the forward-leaning life-giving power of your word. We are focused on the joy of your truths, and we have faith in your promises. Amen!
