There once was a story about a baby elephant. It was tied to a pole as part of its training starting from a young age. The baby elephant would tug and tug, and the pole wouldn’t budge. The baby elephant grew into a huge elephant. He could be tied to a bar stool or a chair, and he would never try to get free again because he had been conditioned mentally.

Persevere

There are times that I’ve had a bad run, a bad week, a bad month. I’ve even had a bad year before. We start conditioning ourselves to think that this is how it’s always going to be. Just because it’s been that way doesn’t mean it’s going to stay that way. The enemy will fight you if he thinks you are capable of doing something big in life.

Be Relentless

You can be anything you want to be if you will work hard enough and you stop self-sabotaging. So if you’re trying to lose weight, or you gained weight, the worst thing you can do is get depressed and start eating TERRIBLE food. Get out and WALK! Drink water. Drink so much water today that you get more exercise than ever because you have to get up and go to the bathroom every five minutes.

Be Encouraged

Don’t allow that thing to hold you back. Today is the greatest day you’ll ever have. Resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7). This isn’t just ANY day, NO! We are not conditioned that way. We are NOT saying, “Oh we’re just holding on until Friday.” We are setting Monday up to blow into Friday! I call you blessed!
