Do you put Christians on a pedestal?
Do you view Christians as people who are supposed to have it together?
Do you get disappointed when you see a Christian stumble?
When someone accepts Christ into their life it doesn’t mean no…
– problems
– bad behaviors
– more doing wrong things
Accepting Christ DOES mean…
– hope for the future
– being forgiven and reconnected with God
– a work in progress
– having a “know-it-all” inside to guide you
– knowing you are NEVER alone
Every Christian is in a different place with God. Don’t judge a book by its cover, only God see’s what’s in someone’s heart. Being a Christian means learning to do life the way the “Master Engineer” intended by using his instruction book (the bible).
Being a Christian isn’t about being perfect, Christ is perfect on our behalf so that we don’t have to be… It’s not possible without Christ.
There were times where I would get right with God, listening to praise music, then someone would tick me off and all of a sudden I forgot I was saved. Satan is the accuser of the brethren… He would say “Well, you’re not acting like a Christian.” I would give up and think I must not be right.
I was always working on my condition, but POSITIONALLY I WAS ALREADY IN RIGHT-STANDING WITH GOD.
God leads you, but he’s not accusing. When you feel bad, it’s the enemy. When you KNOW you need to change and it’s loving, THAT’S GOD.
