If we had been in God’s shoes in Genesis, we would have said, “It’s as dark as a black cat, in a coal bin, eating licorice.” And then it would have STAYED dark. We act like we have no influence over our circumstances by saying flippant things that agree with what’s in front of us. It makes no sense when so often WE DO NOT AGREE with our circumstances. For better or worse, we have the power to control the fight we’re in by what the words we say.

Words That Agree With The Dark

− This is never going to change
− I can’t do that because of my lack of education
− It takes my wife an hour to make minute rice
− My kids will never straighten out
− There’s always more month than money
− My husband is lazy and never helps around the house

Words And Thoughts That Win The War

I might see facts, but I only agree with truth. And the truth will set me free (John 8:32).
Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4)
God shall supply all my need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
I am in the right places, at the right times, with the right people, and everything I touch turns to good.

I’d like for EVERYONE reading this today to know that God can work with this mindset and with these types of words released into your life! Amen!
