Do You Catch And Release?

Does it ever feel like people are mistreating you and you can’t help but keep track? It is so easy to do, but we have to decide to practice the catch and release program. We cannot listen to other people. We need to humble ourselves and STOP TAKING THE BAIT!

God Releases Us Through Forgiveness

God does not keep track of our wrongs when we repent and ask forgiveness. In fact, He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. (Psalm 103:12) So you ask, “How many times should we forgive?” Well, in Matthew 18:21-22, in the bible it shows that we are to forgive 70×7 times. OUCH! And to even go a step further it reads that we need to forgive others, and we will be forgiven. (Luke 6:37) WOW!

I Know It’s Tempting, But Don’t Try To Get Revenge

When we get saved, our hands and feet do not. They still want to kill, destroy, and get revenge, but DON’T! God will avenge us. The problem is that God takes way too long and our flesh is not satisfied, so we ask the next question.

When Will God Deal With Them?

We hear “No weapon formed against us will prosper.” (Isaiah 54:17) Then we look at our circumstances and ask God, “When are you going to deal with them?”

When? Based on my experience, God will take care of them when we stop caring, that’s when. So we might say, “Lord bless them!” (But we’re faking.) This is what keeps us from enjoying our life and we only have one life to live.

Let’s Not Waste Precious Days Remembering The Wrongs

My Dad died of cancer at age 56 and before his death He told me his biggest problem. He could still remember all the things that people had done wrong to him. He said he remembered the good things too, but he definitely remembered the wrongs.

Just Remember, We Can Get Happy In The Same Pants We Got Mad In

We try to avenge ourselves and end up hurting ourselves. We play God instead of allowing God to handle it His way. If we get our mind right, we can get our life right, and all without strife. Let’s choose to let things go today. Let’s choose to humble ourselves and enjoy the day no matter what comes our way. Will you join me?
