Pastor David Crank - Do You Have Short Battery Life?
Do you find that your days are so demanding your battery is drained by the middle of the afternoon? We have incredible DEMANDS on us that often EXCEED OUR BATTERY LIFE.

Think about it. Our cell phones don’t even last all day without getting an additional midday charge. If our cell phones can’t make it all day, then it would make sense that WE ALSO NEED A MIDDAY CHARGE.

I have found that around 3pm my brain begins to slow down. If I drink a cup of coffee or grab a piece of leftover birthday cake from the break room, MY SYSTEM GETS SHOCKED and I am able to meet the demands of the rest of the day.

I have been reading up on health and have found that we need to COMPLETELY RECHARGE EVERY NIGHT.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED:

– Good quality sleep
– Plenty of water
– Regular exercise

Who has time for all of that?!

Our body is a CUH-RAZY machine! Between the electrical frequencies in our heart to lung contractions, we have to get into the rhythm God intended for us.

In the bible it reads, “We are fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:14)

So I have some midafternoon goals:

STOP
– Hitting the staff refrigerator
– Getting coffee midafternoon

START
– Take 30 minute walks outside without my phone
(That alone could cause me to have a heart attack!)
– Drink plenty of water
– Take deep breaths
– Lay down for 10 minutes

I’m going to stop abusing this FANTASTIC MACHINE that God has given me and I’m going to start recharging.

What kinds of ways do you recharge?

Consider thanking God for being your Source and renewing you daily!!!

I know I AM!
