I love Fall! It’s that wonderful time of year when we wake up to brisk mornings. The leaves are changing colors and there’s a fresh feel in the air that I can’t BEGIN to describe. Sure, I like Spring and Winter, our lives revolve around time and seasons.
The bible says in Ecclesiastes 3:2 says, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” I believe as the seasons change in the natural, seasons also change in the spirit.
Never be afraid of the changing seasons. The phrase “to everything there is a season” is a powerful statement. Nothing lasts forever and that’s a good thing!
God keeps things fresh and he renews them. We should not expect every season to last because God created cycles for a reason. He created the cycle of life, gestation, childhood, youth, and middle age to more age. Every season has its purpose for growth and the natural progression will lead us to eternal life. The natural cycle of the seasons has been ordained by God.
This new season that God has me going into right now comes with excitement yet trepidation because it is a NEW SEASON. Don’t get concerned and think it’s strange when God begins to allow the Fall winds to blow the loose leaves off of your tree in order to push you through a season of Winter. Just know that YOU WILL BEGIN TO BUD AGAIN in the Spring.
Remember God has appointed beginnings and endings to your seasons. There will ALWAYS be cycles to your life. Don’t be concerned about it, embrace it, roll with it and know that it’s a GOOD THING! Expect this season to be filled with divine favor and new opportunities!!!
