A soundtrack amplifies the script playing out on the movie screen. Soundtracks aren’t just for movies. Our walk with God has an amplified soundtrack; we just have to take the first step that kicks it off.
Our Leprosy Is Not Who We Are
In 2 Kings Chapter 7, four lepers sat outside of a gate waiting to die. This disease can cause body parts to fall off, and people avoided them because of that. We all have some leprosy; maybe it’s a divorce, financial devastation, weight issues, or cancer. But that is what we have; it is not WHO we are.
Step Out
These four men decided they were going to die if they stay, and die if they go, so why not go and “See what God does?” When they stepped out, God amplified their footsteps like the soundtrack to a movie so that the Armenian army heard an army of horses and chariots coming. The army panicked and fled. There was no army it was just four guys and God.
Unexpected Blessing
The lepers’ step of faith reaped a blessing beyond their wildest imagination. They arrived at the enemy camp to find empty tents full of food, drink, gold and abundance. They would not have known any of this had they not stepped out.
Be Encouraged!
Step out as if a soundtrack is playing for your life. Walk in confidence knowing that it’s not about your ability but it’s about God putting his super on your natural. You may be one voice, but God can supernaturally amplify it to the right audiences. We all feel small at one time or another, but we need to step out like we serve an AMPED UP GOD!
