The more time I spend with God the better looking I become. It’s not arrogance, it’s a fact for you, for me, and for all of us. Everything GOOD about us is God. His goodness shines through my actions, my words and my decisions and that is exactly what makes any of us good looking. It is when I get too busy for God and my focus shifts to me that I become ugly. There are some unattractive, beautiful people in the world because they don’t have God. What they do show the world is self-centered and just plain ugly at times.
Our Vision Dims By The Time Our Bodies Begin To Sag
We all look good with a filter, and everyone looks better when we take our glasses off. Whether we have dimmed vision or we see things through the lens of God’s perspective, with God all things are possible. The most unattractive person, inside or outside can become good looking when we see them through God’s eyes. He loves each one of us, and we all have a purpose.
The Bible Says To Be Happy With The Lot You’re In
Paul said, “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.” (Philippians 4:11)
Let’s think about it.
– Is that person good to you? Do they love you?
– Is this job better than what you had when you were unemployed? Since you’re there why not make the most of it?
We Need To Take An Inventory Of Our Life And Celebrate It
Given the framework of the situation, shake it off, and just enjoy the present until you get to where you’re going. Most of us have two legs. There are many who have one metal leg. Who do you think is more appreciative of their mobility? Lord, sometimes we just need to get a different perspective on what is right in front of us. Help us to see our world and our circumstances through your eyes and to be thankful for what we do have today. Amen!
