Pastor David Crank - Good Doesn't Always Mean God
Sometimes I listen to the world so much that I do not allow God to work in my life. I deceive myself into believing “if times were better” I’d get further faster. I could make that dream happen!

HERE’S WHAT I DON’T ALWAYS DO

·Move out and do what God has told me to do

·Fully obey God because I think things need to BE right before we can DO them right

·Allow God’s word to speak to me; I just keep trying to work all of the angles

Just because it’s a good idea, doesn’t make it a God idea.

HERE’S WHAT I SHOULD DO

·Listen to God’s word, which would knock out all of those questions and problems that are hanging on me

·Lean on God’s understanding (Proverbs 3:5) and be confident in the Lord, instead of leaning on what I think I know

·Try saying, “I’m going to get rid of that reasoning and logic!”

Should I be irrational or go out in foolishness? No. But I do need to MOVE OUT IN FAITH which sometimes can look foolish.

GOD’s WAYS

As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.Isaiah 55:9

Don’t just be hearers of the word [or readers of blogs], but be doers of the word. James 1:22

We shouldn’t deceive ourselves by just listening and taking it in, we have to go and do something that God has called us to do which requires faith. Isn’t that what Peter did when he walked on water?

YOUR PART

ONLY YOU KNOW what God has put in your heart. Listen, THEN take action and move in that direction.
