This Friday is what we call Passion Friday.

It marks the crucifixion of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Good Friday is somewhat of a paradox. It commemorates a dark tragic event but it also points us to a LOVING SAVIOR who died on the cross for our sins.

For years our church never had a Good Friday service, then while praying, one day, the Lord said, “If I can go all the way from heaven to the cross SURELY you and your family can go to church and worship me on Good Friday.”

This day was the most sorrowful day of mourning and yet the most VICTORIOUS day in history for us.

No matter where you are in the world, I encourage you to – COMMEMORATE AND WORSHIP – in the sanctuary on this holy day.

Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name;
worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness.
Psalm 29:2

We must NEVER forget the sacrifice of our Savior…

To properly CELEBRATE his death…

His burial…

and His GLORIOUS Resurrection!
