Whether it’s one setback or a month of setbacks, God is working behind the scenes to turn our setback into a comeback. The Holy Spirit prompted me, some of you call it women’s intuition, others say “something” told me, well that something has a name. He urged me to think about this verse:
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)
What Does This Mean?
We cannot try to analyze a systematic way for God to fix our situation.
We can’t figure out how to get water out of a rock.
We can’t figure out how to split the Red Sea.
We can’t figure out how God took a dude that didn’t go to Bible school, who doesn’t dress right, to a place where he leads multiples campuses in two states in just over a decade.
He Did It For Me And He Will Do It For You
In John 6:19-21 it reads, they had rowed three or four miles when suddenly they saw Jesus walking on the water toward the boat. They were terrified, but he called out to them, “Don’t be afraid. I am here!” Then they were eager to let him in the boat, and immediately they arrived at their destination!
Keep Your Eyes On The Goal
We waste time trying to figure out how God is going to bring something together in our life. We forget that he can blow a supernatural wind in our sails and cause us to arrive at our destination immediately. Stop focusing on the delays and trials. Know that God is working behind the scenes. Our job is to keep our words in alignment with him. Our job is to mix our faith with our words and to stand firm until we see the breakthrough! Amen!
