SHARE THIS POSTIt’s good to have goals because they help us to focus on a direction. There comes a time that our efforts grow stagnant. Maybe we don’t see results come fast enough, or they aren’t getting off of the launching pad. We wonder what’s going on. I don’t have a definite answer for you, but I want to share an important perspective.
Desire For The Big Outcome
People often want the outward manifestation of something great. Sometimes when those same people receive that manifestation of responsibility, money, power or influence over others, they can’t handle it. Their pride swells so much that they become unapproachable and unmanageable. They don’t have the inner workings for the outside manifestation on that level. God has to do something in us before he can do something through us.
Blessed Are The Meek, For They Shall Inherit The Earth (Matthew 5:5)
We have to be meek and when he leads, allow others the first right to opportunities. Before God can do something for us, he has to do something through us. The work of the Holy Ghost is in you. He is weeding out and uprooting stuff; he’s cleaning house to prepare your for bigger outcomes in your life. When your inside is ready, you’ll see results on the outside.
Be Encouraged
Lord, show my friends today the areas of life you need them to humble themselves with you today. Show them what needs uprooting in their heart. Pour your word into their heart and push out anything that needs cleansing. Help them release pride, unforgiveness, and any inflexible mindsets that make it difficult for you to work through them. Lord, bless each person reading this today and show them how your way results in outcomes that are bigger than they can dream or imagine. Amen!
