Many times we fall into the trap of thinking God has called us to be “bionic saints”. With such a unrealistic expectation to live up to we eventually fall off the spiritual bandwagon.

We make one or two mistakes a day on a good day and then we come to the realization we just don’t act like Christians!

The fact is we’re not ACTING like Christians we ARE Christians.

A mindset of thinking that you are serving a god that expects you to perform leads to a defeated Christian life.

You are not forgiven because you are perfect.
You are perfect because you are forgiven.

…Everyone who believes in him [Jesus] receives forgiveness of sins through his name. Acts 10:43

Hint: It doesn’t say, everyone who performs then receives…

…I [Jesus] have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

Jesus didn’t intend for us to continue to fall off of a spiritual bandwagon as if it were a rollercoaster ride or a bucking bronc. He wants us to have a full life, walking side by side with him, enjoying our benefits, such as peace, joy and living above our circumstances.

Now go ENJOY YOUR DAY and stop trying to be a “bionic saint”!!!
