When the Polaroid camera first came out, the picture would come out of the camera, and it would be blank, but after waving it around for a few minutes, it would start to come to life. The picture would transition from blank to a brilliant scene. A Polaroid is like a season, it takes time to develop.
Is It Dead Or Just Barren?
We are coming out of winter where everything in Missouri has been dead and brown all winter. Recently, I’ve noticed little buds and leaves are starting to come out on the trees. It won’t be long until the foliage is so full of blossoms that the trees will be incredible. We need to be careful how we interpret the season we’re in.
The Situation Is Developing Give It Time
As you’re moving forward into this Monday, know this, God is working all things together for your good. The rest of your life is going to be the best of your life. Don’t get upset about your life if it hasn’t turned out yet. Don’t be upset because the business isn’t growing as it should or the situation is not going as well as it should. It just hasn’t turned out yet. It takes a moment for the film to process and develop and for all of these things to work out for your good (Romans 8:28).
Be Encouraged
Lord, we trust that to every thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8). We trust your ways and will your timing as we move through the times when everything seems dead. We trust you to move us through that season and into a season of renewed life. Amen!
