The greatest resistance comes from inside of the organization. It comes from coworkers, family members, and sometimes unexpected friends. Many people drop back and seek comfort because they don’t naturally want to step out with us. When Phillip was called out and it wasn’t to go to Easy Street on Rodeo Drive. Phillip was sent down the barren road of obedience with no comforts.
Success Does Not Equal Comfort
It is not wise to use our level of comfort as a measuring stick. Some people think, when I get to “this” point, I will have arrived, and I will be comfortable. No. The further we go the more appealing comfort becomes because in order to succeed we must step out of our comfort zone.
The Main Tool For Success
The greatest thing we need for success is the word of the Lord. Do we want to start up a business? Or go back to school? Or try something new? Or improve our relationships? The bible has the guidance we need for success in all areas of life.
What Is First For You?
It is so easy to put our kids first, our career, TV, Little League, hobbies, Facebook and so many other things. What we need to do is keep God’s house at the center of all that we do and keep our financial house in order. What is first for you?
